Univers Font Infographic

2018

This infographic was created for one of my typography projects. Using Illustrator and Photoshop I designed an infographic to educate the viewer on the history and creation of the font family, Univers.

Editorial Design

2018

For one of my graphic design course projects we had to create editorial design using Indesign and Illustrator. For this editorial I chose to incorporate an emerging design trend; crystals. I created pages discussing the benefits of crystals; keeping in mind that when one thinks about crystals, one thinks “pretty.” The goal of my design was to evince the feeling of looking at something pretty, while also making the viewer want to stop, look, and read about the subject presented.

Yellow Wallpaper Book Cover

2018

Using Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop we were asked to create a book cover for one of the short stories provided that we would later print and bind. The story was a period piece about a women who begins to lose her mind while being isolated in a room in her home that was covered in yellow wallpaper. I created this book cover that hinted towards the plot of the story, but kept one guessing.

Clothing Business Brochure

2018

For this project we were asked to create a brochure for a company of our choosing while also supporting a message. The mission of the company was to create a positive fashion brand while providing a foil to the negative trends which have dominated fashion. My message was to celebrate a clothing brand that was inclusive of all persons’ body shapes.

Ironic Business Label

2018

For this project we were asked to create an ironic drink or food label. I chose to design a wine bottle that poked fun at the actual buyer. Another trend at the time and still is, is self-deprecating humor. I incorporated that, along with personal experiences and stories to create this wine bottle label.
